Through our on-line application process, we seek team players who will work with us to carry on that tradition. Because we gather certain types of personal information about those who apply for a position, we want to help you understand how Rudolph & Sletten handles information that you submit through Rudolph & Sletten’s on-line, Applicant Self-Service Center.
This Policy applies only to Rudolph & Sletten's Applicant Self-Service Center, the on-line recruiting tool that you were using when you clicked through to this Policy. This Policy does not apply to any other site that Rudolph & Sletten owns or operates.
The Personal Information We Collect About You
The only information that Rudolph & Sletten collects about you through the on-line application process is the information that you submit to Rudolph & Sletten through the Applicant Self-Service Center. Rudolph & Sletten may collect other information about you “off-line”, for example, through an interview or reference checks.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Rudolph & Sletten will use the information that you submit on-line, as well as the information that it collects about you off-line, to decide whether to offer you a position. If you are hired, Rudolph & Sletten will use the information as necessary to administer the employment relationship. Rudolph & Sletten will retain the information you submit in your on-line application consistent with applicable state and federal law.
Sharing Your Personal Information With Third Parties
Rudolph & Sletten will not sell any information that you submit with your on-line application to brokers, marketing firms or to any other third party. We may extend an offer of employment to you subject to the completion of a background check. In those circumstances, we will share the personal information that you have submitted on-line with a third party who conducts background checks on Rudolph & Sletten’s behalf. Rudolph & Sletten will authorize the background check provider to use your information only in connection with the job application process. Rudolph & Sletten will authorize the background check provider to disclose to third parties only the minimum information necessary to complete the background check and only for that purpose.

Security
We want you to feel confident about using Rudolph & Sletten’s Applicant Self-Service Center, so we have implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Your submissions of information to our secure server are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, utilized by most popular browsers, including Netscape and Microsoft Explorer, to safeguard transmissions. This technology allows us to use encryption tools to protect information transmitted between your computer and our server. Through encryption, the personal information you enter is converted into code that is then securely dispatched over the Internet.
Once our secure server receives your encrypted personal information, it is translated back into its original form and stored in our off-line database. Only employees with a need to know are authorized to access your personal information.
While we strive to protect the information that you submit to us, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit through Rudolph & Sletten’s Applicant Self-Service Center, and you do so at your own risk.

Changes To This Policy
If we decide to change this policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice at Rudolph & Sletten’s Applicant Self-Service Center. Those changes will go into effect on the date posted in the revised notice. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of Rudolph & Sletten’s Applicant Self-Service Center and to all information collected before the date of the change. The new policy will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent.
